Secure your swimming pool properly

Posté le

All swimming pools built or installed since January 1, 2004 must be equipped with a safety device: barriers, alarms, covers or shelters.

What the law says

Depending on your budget or your aesthetic preferences, you will have the choice!

Four security systems

The barriers, installed around the pool, are 1.10m high and prevent children under 5 years old from accessing the pool. There are fixed, removable, or retractable models.

With a pool enclosure, you can extend your swimming season while protecting your pool from external pollution. Desjoyaux pool enclosures are designed to withstand the elements.

Immersion detection or passage detection alarms are recommended for small budgets.

Covers protect against external pollution and maintain water temperature. Their visual impact is virtually nonexistent since they blend seamlessly into the pool. Please note that not all types of covers are approved.

A principle of vigilance

While the law requires a safety system to meet standards, nothing replaces parental vigilance. Each piece of equipment must be used according to the advice of a specialist. Not to mention that providing good information to both adults and children is the foundation of good protection.
