How to maintain a swimming pool?

Physical maintenance

Every week, you will need to clean your pool and your filtration elements, pre-filter basket and active membrane.

Cleaning swimming pool water

• Using the cleaning broom, connect the hose and handle to the broom head.
• Position the broom head at the bottom of the basin.
• Prime the broom hose by filling it with water using the unit's discharge.
• Position the skim-vac (double plate) so as to concentrate all or part of the suction on the central hole, into which the other end of the hose will be connected.
• Pass the broom head in an orderly manner (like “mowing the lawn”)
If you have a filtration model equipped with two filter bags, take care to close one of the two bowls before connecting the broom.

Filtration elements

In the Desjoyaux system, water is drawn in by the skimmer, filtered through the filter bag or filter membrane, and then returned to the pool. Upstream of the filter membrane, there is a pre-filter basket designed to retain larger impurities, such as leaves.
The efficiency of filtration will depend on the cleanliness of these two elements.

Precautions for use

Never throw your solid products (pebbles, tablets, granules or powder) directly into the pool and do not put them in direct contact with the liner.
• Always store your treatment products away from sunlight and out of reach of children.
• Never mix several different products in the same container.
• The addition of all products must be done after reading the instructions on the pots.
• Adding different products must always be done separately.
