There are many different sizes and dimensions of coping stones, but generally speaking, the sizes of coping stones are related to the paving stones in the same range. Below is a description of the coping stones sold by the Piscines Desjoyaux brand:

• Classic coping stones 50 cm x 25 cm
Concrete effect for these reconstituted stones manufactured on the Desjoyaux Swimming Pools industrial site. The dimensions of these coping stones were specifically designed for Desjoyaux structures.
These edges are available in 2.5 cm or 5 cm thickness.
2 colors available: straw tone or gray tone

• Traditional coping stones 50 cm x 33 cm
Made from reconstituted stone imitating old stones, the dimensions of these edges are identical to the vast majority of products on the swimming pool market and have a thickness of 2.5 cm.
4 colors available: golden stone tone, gray stone tone, sand tone and terracotta tone.

• Porcelain stoneware coping stones 60 cm x 25 cm
Porcelain stoneware is known for its high strength and lack of porosity, which means it has low water absorption. Porcelain stoneware coping stones are available in 60 cm x 25 cm dimensions and 2 cm thickness.
3 colors available: Sandstone, Light gray sandstone and Anthracite sandstone

Shape of coping stones

• Curved edges
Until a few years ago, the edges on the market had a curved shape to accentuate the anti-chop function and protect the body of water from external pollution.
In the Desjoyaux range, only the Classic and Tradition reconstituted material coping stones are available in a curved shape.

• Flat edges
Definitely more modern and stylish, flat coping stones are mostly made of natural stone. These noble and highly resistant materials give the pool a refined style that can, in some cases, be the ultimate finishing touch. The coping stones will then have a greater thickness of 8 cm to best fulfill their technical and aesthetic functions (8 cm for the Natural Stones range).
Matching paving can be laid to create a play or relaxation area around the pool. In this case, the thickness of the coping stones will be designed to ensure continuity with the pool area.
