Operation and characteristics of the Desjoyaux motorization

The Desjoyaux shelter motorization is made up of 2 motor blocks supporting and tracing the terminal element of the shelter (larger or smaller element as desired).
The main characteristics of this engine are as follows:

• The power supply to the motors is low voltage,
• Quick and easy installation,
• Possibility of installation on existing shelters,
• Design suitable for low and mid-height shelters since the flexible solar panel is easily installed on the filling of the element and the motorization cover is available in 3 colors rigorously selected by Piscines Desjoyaux,
• Autonomous, powered by solar panel for controlled consumption,
• Silent motorization,
• Elastomer toothed wheels,
• The shelter is opened and closed using a remote control with a range of approximately 10 m. The remote control automatically locks 15 minutes after use to prevent accidental opening.
• The motors are self-disengaging to ensure manual safety of the pool at any time.

Safety standards

Whether motorized or not, the low or mid-height pool enclosure complies with the safety law of January 3, 2003. The use of motorized pool enclosures does not change compatibility with the NF P 90-309 standard since the motorization does not affect the design of the enclosures or their locking principles.

On the other hand, Desjoyaux motors meet in all respects the installation requirements of the current version of the C 15100 standard and are classified as Safe Very Low Voltage (subject to installation in accordance with the installation requirements).
Although the remote control has an automatic locking safety feature, it is important to keep it out of the reach of young children.
