The history of the Desjoyaux swimming pool is above all the double concept: the structure of the swimming pool and the filtration of the swimming pool.

Structure of a Desjoyaux swimming pool
Based on a patent filed in 1978 by Mr Jean Desjoyaux, active permanent formwork allows for the installation in record time of a swimming pool structure made up of recycled polypropylene panels pre-assembled in the factory and which, once installed on site, are filled with concrete and reinforced in a single operation.
The result of this patent is a swimming pool that stands the test of time, the possibility of creating varied shapes and numerous sizes of swimming pools.

Filtration group
Second patent filed in 1983 and not the least in the world of swimming pools: the pipeless filtration unit . No more need for buried pipes between the swimming pool and the technical room located at the bottom of the garden (which houses the sand filter)! The filtration unit integrated into the wall of the swimming pool or positioned as a straddle on the structure includes all the filtration elements. It is composed of a front face (or Filter Room) immersed in the water which includes the projector, the filter media (bag or JD Master Filt), the pre-filter basket and a rear face (or Technical Room) containing the filtration pump. The water from the swimming pool is sucked in by the skimmer, filtered through the filter media and expelled into the swimming pool by the return jets.

An ingenious system that has proven to be effective, ecological (no more backwash operation to clean the sand filter) and economical due to its design for over 50 years.
