Winter is just around the corner, and it's time to think about winterizing your pool. With the pool winterizing kit, specially designed for pools up to 50m3, you'll find all the essential pool treatment products you need to winterize your pool with ease.


The different steps for winterizing your pool using this pool winterizing kit+:

First, you need to thoroughly clean your pool and all your equipment. In this pool winterizing kit, use the Sponge Line sponge and the JD Gel+ waterline cleaner , to get rid of your clogged water line.

The second step is to check the pH and chlorine levels. Don't hesitate to readjust them. If necessary, you can perform shock chlorination using the 1kg shock chlorine , available in this pool wintering kit.

As part of active wintering: You can now pour the 1L winterizing product , included in this pool winterizing kit. Feel free to repeat the operation during the season. All you have to do is adjust your filtration system so that it operates at a slower speed during the winter.

As part of passive wintering: The next step is to shut down the filtration system and lower the water level. You must then remove all the water from the system by draining and purging your equipment and pipes. Now, add the following to the walls of your pool: wintering product 1L The last step is: arrange your winter pool floats and cover it with a winter tarpaulin.

This kit is composed of:

  • 2x Wintering Product 1L:During the winter, use the 1L wintering product to protect yourself against the risk of limescale and algae appearing in your swimming pool.

  • 1 x Sponge Line Pool Sponge:The Sponge Line pool sponge effectively combats visible marks on your waterline.

  • 1 x JD Gel+ Waterline Cleaner:The efficient JD Gel+ cleaner removes limescale and black marks from your waterline.

  • 1x Shock chlorine 1kg:Used to shock chlorinate your swimming pool.

Our advice for use and dosage:

  • Wintering Product 1L:
    For a TH lower than 35°F (low-calcium water): add 30 to 40 ml/m3 of water
    For a TH above 35°F (hard water): add 40 to 60 ml/m3 of water

 

  • Sponge Line pool sponge:

The Sponge Line pool sponge is used with the JD Gel+ waterline cleaner.

  • JD Gel+ Waterline Cleaner:

Spread the JD Gel+ with the Sponge Line on the surfaces to be cleaned. Wait about fifteen seconds, then wipe with a cloth soaked in pool water.

  • Shock chlorine 1kg:
    Use 1 tablet/m3 of water.
