JD Sel test+ is a pool salt tester with strips. Its 10 immersion strips offer you a quick and effective test of the salt level present in the pool water! Measuring the salt level with this pool salt tester is simple! Simply immerse the strip for a few minutes in pool water previously collected in a small bottle and that's it! This test allows you to adjust the amount of salt in electrolysis treatments. As a reminder, the recommended salt level is 4 g/L or 4 ppt.

Our usage tips:

  • Fill a small container with about 2-3 cm of water from your pool or spa.
  • Dip the bottom half of the strip into the water sample, while keeping the top half of the strip completely dry to obtain accurate results.
  • When the yellow strip turns dark, within 3 to 4 minutes, remove the strip from the sample.
  • Determine where the highest white dot is on the test strip's number scale.
  • Compare this value to the table on the pool salt tester bottle.

  • Always make sure to keep the cap of your pool salt tester properly screwed on.
  • Store your pool salt tester at room temperature.
  • CAUTION: Do not ingest and keep the pool salt tester out of reach of children.
