Our installation advice:

To replace the mixing valve on your solar shower, simply follow these steps:

  • Remove the red/blue plastic cover which is simply “clipped”.
  • Using the flat screwdriver, unscrew the screw holding the mixer handle.
  • Remove the handle from the mixer tap and unscrew the decorative washer by hand.
  • Using a flat wrench or pliers, unscrew the central nut.
  • Remove the “valve” part of the mixer.
  • Reposition the new “valve”. Be careful, two keyways allow the new valve to be positioned correctly.
  • Reassemble the assembly: screw the nut with the flat spanner, screw the decorative ring by hand, reposition the mixer handle, screw the handle retaining screw, reposition the red/blue cover.
