This frost protection box provides active protection for your pool against frost, essential for active wintering of your pool:

With winter approaching, it's time to winterize your pool. As soon as the temperature drops, opt for the JD Hors Gel frost protection box! This pool equipment actively protects your pool against frost . Indeed, as soon as the outside air temperature is equal to or lower than the set temperature programmed on your frost protection box, JD Hors Gel starts the filtration pump in forced operation, your pool is thus protected against the harmful effects of frost.

Autonomous, this anti-freeze box automatically starts the pump in the event of a drop in temperature:

Essential for active wintering of your pool, this frost protection box for your pool has a set temperature, which can be adjusted according to your needs, which allows the filtration pump to be automatically triggered. Autonomous, the frost protection box allows the filtration pump to start as soon as the measured temperature is equal to or lower than the set value. It stops as soon as the measured temperature is equal to the set value + 1°C.

Installation of the swimming pool frost protection box:

The electrical installation of the frost-proof box must be carried out by a certified electrician and comply with the NF C 15-100 installation standard. Do not hesitate to contact your Desjoyaux dealer for more information regarding the installation of your JD Hors Gel frost-proof box.

Notice

Our usage tips:

  • The JD Hors Gel frost protection box does not override the filtration box. Therefore, in "manual" filtration mode or in "automatic" mode during the programmed hours, the filtration pump operates regardless of the outside temperature.
  • The frost protection box's set point is factory-set to +6°C. This can be changed at any time.

Our installation advice:

  • The electrical installation of the frost-free box must be carried out by an approved electrician and comply with the NF C 15-100 installation standard.
  • Position the frost-free box so that the probe can measure the air temperature as accurately as possible. The probe of the JD Hors Gel frost-free box must be installed in an area not protected from the weather.
  • Do not place the probe near a heat or radiation source.
  • The JD Hors Gel anti-freeze box must be connected to the filtration box.
  • The JD Hors Gel frost-proof box must be installed at a minimum distance from the pool edge, determined by the electrical standard in force in the country. In France, the NF C 15 100 standard (section 702) specifies that this frost-proof box must be installed at a minimum distance of 3.5 meters from any pool or water reserve.
